Kelling Heath
Black-banded Spider Wasp (Anoplius viaticus)
Fascinating to watch covering up her nest.
Working at a furious pace with at a constant flutter of her wings she redistributed the soil from her excavations over the entrance to her nest.
Carefully redistributing the darker grains from her mine spoil to match the lighter grains present on the ground.
She went over this a number of times to achieve the effect she needed even incorporating larger stones into the mix to match the surrounding substrate.

Clark's Mining Bee (Andrena Clarkella) or Cliff Mining Bee (Andrena thoracica)
It seemed a little late for Clark's Mining Bee but there were plenty of Early Nomad Bees (Nomada leucopthalma) present suggesting Clark's Mining Bee.
Also had a slightly more dumpy appearance and hairs on the abdomen but then again white pollen from Alexanders.
Turned out to be.

Thanks to Nick Owns for confirmation.
