"I think it’s Sphecodes puncticeps. One of the photos shows a longitudinal groove on the front of the thorax and the head is broad.
It should have a single point on the mandible rather than a double one, but cannot see this in the photos. Often a heathland species.

The grove can just about be seen on this photo too.
